Heat can damage the shape and lamination of the board- Creasing of the deck or the slick&#xA0;- Water absorption- Accidental or forceful damage to the board- Over-flexed or broken boards- Damage caused by leashes or other accessories- Dents or depressions from the rider or foreign objects- Surfboard print will self-destruct with time and use- Some sunscreens and lotions MAY affect the print on this boardFor more details please <a href="https://www.softechsoftboards.com.au/pages/contact-us" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Contact Us">Contact Us</a> BOARD CAREWhilst the boards are made to withstand extreme temperatures, heat in excess of 60 degrees over a long period of time will reverse the lamination properties of the board. &#xA0;To reduce the likelihood of this occurring:<ul><li style="font-size: 16px;">Wash with fresh water after use</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Keep out of direct sunlight or hot places</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Store flat in a cool and dry place</li></ul>Although the board&apos;s cores are 100% waterproof, water can still penetrate the layer between the core and the outer skin. &#xA0;To prevent this from happening:&#xA0;<ul><li style="font-size: 16px;">Make sure the fin system is screwed in firmly and that there is no gap between the plug and the deck of the board.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Any penetration to the board&#x2019;s outer skin should be fixed/sealed immediately. </li></ul>Note: Softech can only process warranty returns for items purchased directly from Softech.
